After Almost 20 years in specialist mountain sports retail we have decided to retire.  It’s been a blast and we have met many great and cool people along the way.

For us, retail was always about the ‘experience’ for the in-store customer, the banter, the stories, the trips away and most of all, the detailed product knowledge.

Now in this online revolution, the in-store visitors have dropped off and armies of new customers, armed only with their PCs, have taken over.  We adapted, we grew our online business way greater than our in-store business ever was but alas when you get more paper cuts in a day than you see or speak to real life customers then for us the job has changed, for good.  Add to this that more and more of our suppliers are now selling direct then we can see no future in the long term for the independent retailer.

Its time for our dedicated team to move on and find new and exciting challenges.  We have closed our ‘bricks and mortor’ store down in Hull and everything we have is available here online.

You can rest assured that there are no material defects or anything that will affect the use or life of these snowboard.  Some of our staff ride Burton 2nd’s and we’ve been unable to find any differences with the graphics.  In fact, the only way to see that its a so called second is it has ’2nd’ stamped on the base (the tip) and printed on the label!
