As the end of the 2012 winter season draws to a close we managed to get one last week or riding in. This week we were invited to Morzine to test ride some of the Burton Snowboard 2013 hardware.
We were promised good spring conditions for the end of April and this was confirmed as it had snowed a lot in the last two weeks. The first day out saw great piste conditions that would have been good for any day of the season, let alone the end of April.
Then to top it all, literally, it starts snowing and has been snowing for days. We have been riding powder yesterday, today and definitely tomorrow. We took this picture this afternoon on the side of the home run.
Most chalets and hotels are empty and there is hardly anyone here. Fresh tracks until the lifts close on Sunday. Due to this shocker we are going to be slightly delayed in reporting on what the new Burton Snowboard 2013 products are like.
