Snowboard Avalanche Safety

Avalanche Safety Equipment is essential for any serious skier or snowboarder.  THe back country can be a beautiful playground but it is also extremely dangerous.

Avalanches off piste are common and should be expected and prepared for.  Having an avalanche transeiver, avalanche probes and a good snow shovel are life savers that will massively increase you and your partners chances of surviving a burial in snow.

Practice and proffessional training will make sure that you can use this equipment, quickly and accurately in all situations and under extreme pressure.  Always use an experienced and qualified mountain guide for your big mountain adventures.
